Our history
The BaobabCompany brand was born in 1995 in the Indian Ocean thanks to the continuous experimentation of its founder Bruno Lanceleur, printer and textile designer on the islands of Reunion and Mauritius.
Since then, we have established ourselves in the Indian Ocean, Africa and the Caribbean with collections andco-responsible adapted and personalized to each site using local themes always in a cool and tropical spirit, bright and warm colors, a perfect representation of the Indian Ocean.
More than 25 years of experience have allowed us to be known throughout the world for the quality of our production andco-responsible, with ethnic patterns, resistant tones and the great durability of our garments.

Participate in changing consumption patterns towards a sustainable and responsible economy. We have been working there for more than 25 years of experience working directly with cotton producers, fabrics and our various collaborators in Mauritius.

Since our beginnings in 1995, Baobab Company has grown while cultivating human values towards its workers and partners. Also, we choose our suppliers with the same sustainability criteria, en favoring the Creole origin and the traditions of the peoples of the Indian Ocean, cultural mixing between India, Europe and Africa.
Our philosophy and our values are reflected in the most symbolic tree of the African continent and of Madagascar, the baobab; also known as the "traveler's tree" which invites us to travel and move, a certain idea of freedom...
